NOON is a professional skincare range with products for in-clinic treatments and homecare. Its patented DermShield™ technology is designed to reduce irritation associated with certain active formulations.
What does the research show?
A controlled study of 20 women found reduced redness, pain and itching with DermShield in a 50% glycolic acid peel, compared with the formulation without DermShield.
The study mainly involved lighter skin types and one peel formulation. It does not mean that every peel is free of discomfort or side effects.

Suitability depends on your skin, health history and current skincare. We assess you before recommending a peel. Tell us about pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergies, skin conditions, medication and recent procedures.
Redness, sensitivity, dryness or flaking may occur. Recovery varies with the peel and your skin. Your clinician will explain likely downtime, possible risks and aftercare for the treatment selected for you.
We will discuss whether a single treatment or a course is appropriate for your goals. Treatment needs and results vary, and homecare may form part of your plan.
Follow the instructions given for your treatment. Use the recommended moisturiser and sun protection, avoid picking or rubbing the skin, and only restart exfoliating acids or retinoids when your clinician advises.
